We are a non-profit volunteer organization; our members are our greatest asset. Our society keeps all Odia people in Malaysia connected and promotes our Odia art & culture in Malaysia. The Malaysia Odia Association is an apolitical, non-profit, and voluntary group formed to provide a platform for promoting cultural and social activities beyond Odisha. This association will cater to bringing back the Odia culture and tradition followed in our homeland.

Now it’s time for us to renew our membership so that we can be progressive in moving this association forward. Our Society Membership is open to all persons from Odisha and residing in Malaysia.

• Persons who are below 21 years of age shall not be accepted as members without the written consent of their parents or guardians

The Annual General Meeting on recommendation from the Committee from time to time shall determine the membership subscription fees and other charges.
There shall be a subscription payable by members on an annual basis.

Subscription’s payable are as follows:

• 1. Student – RM 50
  2. Single – RM 100
  3. Family – RM 150
  4. Single Lifetime – RM 500
  5. Family Lifetime – RM 1000
• Members who object to the proposed fees by the Committee may bring a resolution to propose a different fee.
• Members upon attaining 70 years of age shall be accorded the status of member (retired). A retired member shall pay a reduced yearly subscription to be decided by the management committee from time to time.
• Annual subscriptions shall be payable within one month before the expiry of membership. If a member fails to pay within one month from the due date after receiving renewal notification, he/she shall pay an additional late fee equivalent to 25% of the prevailing annual subscription fee.
• Any additional fund required for special purposes or for future projects furthering the objects of the society or for management of the society may only be raised from members and well-wishers with the consent of the General Meeting of the members.
• The income and property of the Society whensoever derived shall be applied towards the promotion of the objects of the Society as set forth in this Constitution and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividend or bonus or otherwise howsoever by way of profit to the persons who at any time are or have been members of the Society or to any of them or to any person claiming through any of them.
